Developing beautiful, functional electronic books for a wide variety of reading platforms (from eInk devices to smartphones, tablets, and desktops) requires a unique combination of technical knowledge in both traditional publishing typesetting (typography, paged layout) and modern web standards (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
