State of the ebookcraft nation: #eprdctn and #a11y in 2020

This session will be a pause-and-take-stock look at ebooks and accessibility, looking closely at: what work has been done up to now, the work that is going on at present, and what’s left to do (looking at you, InDesign). This will be a broad-ranging conversation focused on movement in the Canadian marketplace but taking international work into account as well. We will take into account research studies, the state of standards, tool development, government funding, and the state of reading systems as seen through an accessibility lens.
